The Tengiz oil field was discovered in 1979 and is the deepest oil field in the world. It is called the pearl of the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan, which has no analogs in the world. The operator Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO) operates on the territory of the license area, which includes unique reserves the giant Tengiz field and the large Korolev field.
Tengizchevroil LLP is implementing the Future Growth Project / Wellhead Pressure Management Project (FGP/WPMP) worth $46.7 billion. The project will increase TCO’s production by 12 million tons per year. According to FGP, the expected Kazakhstani content is 36%.  

FGP/WPMP scope of work includes:
   – Construction of the Third Generation Plant with a capacity of 12 million tons/year;
   – Third-generation sour gas injection facilities (SGI) with a capacity of 9.4 billion m3/year;
   – Construction of a new oil gathering system and well drilling;
   – Wellhead pressure boosting system, Prorva port, infrastructure, and auxiliary facilities.
